We are a safe, friendly, welcoming Chapel. We don’t discriminate. We open our arms to everyone, including dogs!
Our weekly service is on a Sunday at 11am, with a Sunday School twice a month on the 2nd and 4th Sundays. We have tea and coffee at the end of the service – a time for catching up with everyone.

Our Sunday School
Our congregation are always delighted to see little ones and younger members at our services and aim to ensure services feel relaxed and welcoming to all ages.
We offer a Sunday School on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of each month for children aged 4 and over.
On these Sundays, children initially join the Service in the Chapel with their grown-ups and then move into to the schoolroom with the Sunday School Leaders after the second hymn. Grown-ups may be asked to help with a session from time-to-time!
Sunday School begins each week with a ‘news and views’ session where every child can share with the group some recent news or something they have brought.
We then have a story or discussion on a relevant topic, perhaps relating to our Unitarian principles or something in the news from around the world that week. Examples include the environment; animals, birds and sea creatures; helping others; Fairtrade; peace; our history.
We join in an activity, often something crafty or creative. To end the session, we gather together again to light candles and say a prayer.
When the congregation come over to the Schoolroom for tea and coffee after the service, children rejoin their parents/carers and play with their friends The children have fun making great friends and exploring activities and ideas all in a safe and nurturing environment.
Our Sunday School leaders are DBS checked.
